Here's a quick social-media-style curated version of who I am as an individual:
In the past I've worn a lot of professional hats. I've been a:
Published Author.
Start-up Cofounder;
NGO Cofounder;
NGO Project Manager;
Freelance Project Manager;
Programmer;
Assistant University Lecturer;
Comedy Actor;
Aspiring influencer (Podcaster & Youtube);
Semi-Professional eSports Player.
Over my years as a professional, I've done a few things, among others:
Won multiple international awards, including the Charlemagne Youth Prize in Romania;
Spoke at UVT, ISOC, ITU RDF, and AFSIG (among others);
Have been a Romanian Youth Envoy to the ITU;
Participated at Aspen Institute, Aspire Academy, and the World Economic Forum.
Charlemagne National Winners with Ursula von der Leyen in Aachen
I've been lucky enough to enjoy quite a broad education over the years including:
PhD in Management (Work in Progress);
Master's in Information Systems for Business (Degree in Economics & Programming);
Industry 4.0 at UPPA;
City Management at the University of Antwerp;
Certifications in leadership, project management, digital security, global technology regulation
McKinsey Forward Program;
Self study based on the INSEAD curriculum.
I've got quite a few hobbies. Among other I like:
Physical activity
I enjoy strength training and especially endurance sports (like marathons and ultramarathons).
I do endurance running because I wish to know what lies beyond my capacities, and not just when the brain tells me to stop.
I am mainly interested in physical activities for longevity reasons. I need to be 99 years old to see the results of my work, so I am as living as healthy as is reasonable for me (I don't drink any alcohol, and I don't smoke).

Books & High Quality Cinema
My main way of learning is reading, and I do read (a lot). So far I have 1000+ books read on my Goodreads, and many more to go.
It's pretty hard to choose a favorite, so I will share a few: Wisely Audacious - the one I wrote, Rules for Radicals (by Alinsky, Saul D.), and The Inner Game of Tennis (by Gallwey, W. Timothy).
I have a broad range of book know-how, from business to psychology, from geopolitics to cooking, and from history to classical fiction.
My favorite movie is really hard to choose as well. Based on the genre, it might be No More Bets (for real world depiction of very tough human circumstances), Eye in the Sky or A House of Dynamite (for the different experiences people have of the same issue), or Hamilton (yes, the musical).
My favorite series is certainly something to do with politics like Occupied, or The Diplomat.
Bonus: The most philosophically challenging anime I know might also be my favorite thing of all times - Psycho-Pass (first season).
Photography
I like to really see what's in front of my eyes, not just the symbols which my brain interprets.
I enjoy taking pictures both to make cool memories, and especially to actually admire the things I've grown accustomed to.
Below, some of my favorite pictures I've ever taken.
Languages
I like being able to understand cultures and especially what netizens of different countries are like.
So far I know Romanian and English at a "native" level (Grew up in Romania, but I think and mainly express myself in English).
I can also speak / understand French (C'est pas faux), Spanish (Wilson Lo siento!), and Italian (Okaaay).
And I am learning Russian (спасиба) & Chinese (谢谢).
Arts
I spent quite a few months learning about Architecture, Ballet, Classical Music, Opera, Paintings, and Theather.
Favorite architecture style is baroque, favorite painting style is neoclassical, and my favorite classical music piece is also my alarm sound.
Oh, and I can also play a few songs on the harmonica & piano, and I'm currently learning to ink sketch.
I appreciate attending live ("classical") artistic events whenever possible & to find art in whatever I am doing.
The painting with the most intriguing backstory I know
Travel
I've visited a few countries, and I enjoy doing intentional travel.
I'm not intro traveling "just because", or "because it's cool".
I like to really learn about a place, it's museums and culture, to fully appreciate it.
A non-definitive list of the places I've been to
Chess
I enjoy learning about chess, and what it can teach me about my structure of thinking.
My current goal is to get to 1500 ELO. My favorite openers are London for White, and Caro-Kann for Black.
Planes
I'm not a cars guy. I do not enjoy driving at all, and would much rather take public transport, or be in the passanger seat.
However, I do like boats and planes. I'm looking into getting certifications for both.
My favorite small plane - Cessna 172
The purpose of my life is to offer hope & inspiration to people like me, and to meaningfully contribute to the lives of 10 billion people.
